Rosewood will arrive in Xi’an in 2026 • Hotel Designs

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, has been on the rise in recent years, announcing its arrival in new territories, including Spain, Saudi Arabia, Vienna, among others. The group continues its strategic global growth with the announcement of Rosewood Xi’an, an urban resort set to join the brand’s already strong portfolio of properties across China in 2026.

Located in the east of Xi’an’s Qujiang District, the property will offer leisure and business travelers an ultra-luxury base close to major arts, business and tourist attractions. Embodying the brand philosophy, A Sense of Place, in which each Rosewood property reflects the history, rich culture and unique spirit of its destination, Rosewood Xi’an aims to fully immerse guests in this dynamic destination. Known as one of the four ancient cities of the world, Xi’an is the starting point of the historic Silk Road and home to Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Terracotta Army, both of which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. UNESCO. Other notable cultural sites nearby include Du Lin Relics Park, Xi’an Botanical Garden, and Great White Deer Plain.

The hotel will house a total of 180 rooms and suites in addition to four food outlets including a casual bistro, a Chinese restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a bar. The hotel will also feature the brand’s exclusive executive lounge, The Manor Club, as well as Asaya, Rosewood’s integrative wellness concept, which will include eight treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center fitness and a Rosewood Explorer club with a plethora of activities for children.

Images of the hotel’s design and architecture have yet to be released. Rosewood Xi’an is the latest development announcement from the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts brand, adding to a strong portfolio of projects set to open in China in the coming years, including Rosewood Shenzhen (2025), Rosewood Chengdu (2026) , Rosewood Hangzhou (2026) and Rosewood Shanghai (2028).
